One license, every surface. The same detection engine runs in the IDE, Desktop and CLI — your plan sets the depth (regex → AST → taint), not which tool. Each surface adds workflow features: the IDE fixes via your editor’s AI (e.g. Copilot); the Desktop has a built-in local model (Enterprise can add cloud AI with your own key); the CLI emits SARIF/SBOM for CI. Questions

Is my code uploaded? No. Scanning is fully offline. Enterprise can optionally enable cloud AI with its own API key — off by default.

Is the AI the same on every surface? The detection is identical. AI fixes differ by surface: the IDE uses your editor’s AI (Copilot); the Desktop app has a built-in local model (no Copilot needed); Enterprise can add cloud AI with your own key. Either way, Vise never uploads your code.

What counts as a “seat”? One developer. Machine limits are per plan: Free = 1 machine, Pro = 3 machines, Enterprise = 1 machine per seat. CI runners don’t consume seats — pipelines use a separate machine-unbound token.

Do you do per-line-of-code pricing? Never. Flat per-developer — no surprise bills on big repos.
