The short version

Vise is offline-first. Scanning runs entirely on your machine — your source code is never uploaded to us. We have no telemetry and run no analysis servers that see your code.

What we collect

• Purchase data — when you buy, our payment processor (Stripe or PayPal, whichever you choose at checkout) collects your email and payment details. We never see or store card numbers.
• License data — we store your email, license key, edition, and a machine fingerprint (a one-way hash) to activate and support your license.
• No source code, no scan results, no telemetry.

Sub-processors

We use a small number of providers to run the service. They process data on our behalf under their own data-processing agreements:

• Cloudflare — hosting, license storage, downloads.
• Stripe — payments and billing.
• PayPal — payments and billing (alternative to Stripe).
• Resend — transactional email (your license key, sign-in links).

Optional cloud AI (Enterprise)

Enterprise users may optionally enable cloud AI using their own API key. If enabled, the relevant snippet is sent to their chosen provider — never to us. This is off by default.

Your rights (GDPR)
